Landed properties have setbacks indication in their Street Block Plan, and what can be build in the front setbacks. And there is also different setback distance for different things built.
Example of what can be build: car porch, pavilion, bay window, planter, sun shade structures, pool/pond etc.
There are 58 landed housing areas in Singapore, out of which 39 are Good Class Bungalows areas. These landed housing areas have no plot ratio in the Master Plan, therefore cannot be build into apartments /flats.
